Andrew Tyley 

Principal and Chief Executive of Walford and North Shropshire College and LSIS Council Member

Andrew has a BA (Hons) in French with German and an MBA in Public Services.  He started his career with Staffordshire County Council as a trainee accountant and qualified with CIPFA in 1987.  Andrew’s career has spanned the public and private sector including roles as Director of Finance in FE, HE and the Adult Learning Inspectorate.

Andrew is currently Principal and Chief Executive of Walford and North Shropshire College, a rural tertiary college with a specialist land-based campus.  Andrew has held this post for four years.

He is a member of the Landex Board and is Honorary Treasurer and is the Landex representative on the LSIS Council.

Andrew is also Chair of the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Association of Principals.
