I have worked in the training sector for 18 years in a variety of different organisations including private training providers and further education colleges. Currently I am the Operations Director for a national work-based learning provider. I am responsible for the training, and assessment and the quality of delivery. Prior to this I was self-employed as a consultant specialising in training, inspection and quality.

I have worked with a number of different organisations including OFSTED as an additional inspector and City & Guilds as an external verifier. I have carried out over 100 inspections over a 10 year period, this has been across all remits and includes many leadership and management and quality improvement inspections. More recently I have been involved in supporting other providers through LSIS on implementing the QCF programme.
