Conference stems from need for self-improvement

Self-improvement support for teachers and managers will be the order of the day at a conference in York next month aimed at Leadership in Post-16 STEM.
The two-day conference on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 September at the National Science Learning Centre in York is directed at managers and teachers and explores and celebrates excellent practice across the STEM subjects in the learning and skills sector.
Items which will be covered include work funded through the LSIS STEM Programme whilst the conference will also promote self-improvement activity providing information about new funding opportunities and the range of support options offered by the new LSIS Regional STEM centres.
