LSIS offers vital mentoring to executive leaders and chairs: express your interest now

12/09/2011

A far-reaching LSIS initiative is set to help new and aspiring principals - along with chairs of governors and corporations in post for less than a year - to advance their personal development through free mentoring support.

Following a highly-successful pilot, LSIS can now call upon an enthusiastic group of experienced leaders currently in the sector who are willing to provide one-to-one advice and guidance.

The period of mentoring will run from 1 November 2011 to the end of the academic year and LSIS is inviting expressions of interest now.

If you would like to benefit from mentoring support, please send your expression of interest by 30 September to peter.arnold@lsis.org.uk explaining what you hope to gain from the initiative and what outcomes you envisage.

There is no charge for the service but the number of places available is strictly limited. All expressions of interest will be considered but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all applicants will be successful as it may not always be possible to match them with mentors on a geographical basis.
