Preparing for Inspection
02/02/2012
LSIS is providing training courses to help sector organisations prepare for inspection - regardless of their performance.
In February and March LSIS is holding training events to offer sector professionals a flexible structure for updating and extending their knowledge, understanding and skills to do with inspection, and the quality improvement approaches that prepare for that. It poses the question ‘what exactly does being prepared for inspection actually mean, day-by-day, in all we do throughout our organisation?’
The sessions and workshops will involve presentations, small and whole group discussions and practical activities. All of them will help you and your institution gain insights into the inspection process and explore the implications of the common inspection framework.
These sessions are suitable to anyone in an organisation who is involved with preparing for inspection. This can include quality managers, curriculum leaders, training directors and in smaller organisations, chief executives. Organisations can include sub-contractors or consortium members as well as those who hold an SFA or YPLA contract. Sessions will be taking place on Tuesday 21 Febuary in Birmingham and on Tuesday 20 March in London. Visit the
events section for more details. There are also details of other courses such as ‘Excellence in real time’ on Wednesday 22 February & Wednesday 21 March and ‘Observation of teaching and learning’ on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 March.
