Lynette Cutting has 26 years experience of working within further education and has been instrumental in improving the financial performance of Stourbridge College since her appointment as principal in 2004.
Her commitment to promoting access to higher education has led to links being forged with local Universities and businesses ensuring that access to progression is easier for students.
Recently passing her Principals Qualifying Programme with flying colours, Lynette scored highly in relation to her interpersonal skills. An effective communicator at all levels she prides herself on her ability to identify new business opportunities and apply effective implementation strategies. She has an eye for detail and is financially astute.
On a more personal note, Lynette is confident and direct but also inclusive and consultative. As one of only 36 female further education college principals out of a total of 361 in England, Lynette has proved that she has the cutting edge.
