The Learning and Skills Improvement Service is the new sector‑owned body, formed from CEL and QIA to develop excellent and sustainable FE provision across the sector. LSIS will work in partnership with all parts of the sector to provide vision, leadership, clarity and high quality support; practising and enabling continuous self‑improvement and capacity building.

LSIS 2009/2010 Council Elections 

Elections begin for LSIS Council 2009

A year after its launch, LSIS has announced the first open, sector–led elections for its Council. Thirty members of the new Council will be elected from within the constituent members of the Single Voice. Each member has an allocation of council places to ensure a broad representation of the sector itself.
