Invitation to tender for: LSIS Skills and Employer Responsiveness Programme
LSIS is seeking tenders for a contractor with the capability of working successfully to support providers in improving the volume and quality of employer responsive services. Priority areas for support are: employer responsive provision; Apprenticeships; pre-employment programmes including integrated skills and employment.
Contracts will be awarded for 15 months initially (from June 2010 to August 2011) with options to extend for up to a further 24 months. This opportunity is being tendered as nine separate contracts, each embracing one government office region in England.
Tenderers may submit tenders for just one region (of their choice) or all nine regions or any combination in
between. The cumulative value of the initial nine contracts of fifteen months will be up to £7,020,000
(including VAT.)

LSIS is seeking contractor(s) with the capability of working successfully to support regional engagement, to increase the capacity and improve the quality of literacy, language and numeracy teaching and learning. The successful contractor will play a major role to meet the key objective of ensuring sufficient volume of relevant, high quality, flexible literacy, language and numeracy provision that helps people to progress in life and work.
Contracts will be awarded for 15 months initially (from 01 June 2010 to 31 August 2011) with options to extend for up to a further 24 months.
