Tenders

Business Opportunities with LSIS

Thank you for visiting this section of our website. Here you will find all of our current tender opportunities. Depending upon the remit and size of the potential contract, we will also advertise in the educational media and via OJEU (the Official Journal of the European Union) if appropriate.

Some opportunities may be offered as ‘straight to tender’; others via an expression-of-interest followed by invitation-to-tender. Here at LSIS we also operate a small number of Framework Registers, and at times there may be invitations to apply for these.

Below we also make available our Framework Agreement and Supplier Contract templates. These are here for reference – allowing you to ‘interrogate’ our legal terms and conditions, for example.

Each opportunity includes a brief introduction here on the web page, and hyperlinks to all of the procurement documents you need. It is our intention to launch new opportunities here around the first day of each month.

Thanks again for your interest in LSIS. It is much appreciated. Rob Bendelow – Head of Procurement.

Summary
During 2010, LSIS engaged a number of providers (‘lead providers’) who offered their services to support other providers in the learning and skills sector (‘supported providers’). Lead providers have demonstrable expertise in a particular field and most importantly the capacity and capability to support others.

LSIS is creating a Lead Provider framework register to identify and engage Learning Providers who will collectively represent the whole range of settings within the learning and skills sector.

LSIS activity will be supported by lead providers from this framework register.

Applications to tender are invited from lead providers who are capable of undertaking projects as described within the invitation-to-tender specification document below.

Please note that there is no deadline for receipt of applications. For the foreseeable future, LSIS will invite applications on an ‘open door’ basis. It is our intention, however, to have a register of lead providers in place early in the academic year.

Summary
LSIS is looking to engage a range of consultants covering a variety of services to assist in delivery of and support for our improvement services. These services fall into five areas as follows:

  • Programme design and development.
  • Programme delivery - face-to-face facilitation, e-facilitation, training and development.
  • Consultancy and coaching - direct, one-to-one support.
  • Quality assurance and programme evaluation.
  • Specialist expertise and strategic development - providing advice to LSIS.

Please see the Invitiation to Tender - the 'categories of work' document for the full list of activities.

Please note: With this Framework Register we are seeking only to engage individual consultants, rather than organisations, companies or partnerships.
