Further support to help the sector’s HE provision

These resources have been developed by the Mixed Economy Group (MEG), with support from LSIS to provide further support to providers to understand the strategic implications of the government’s reform of higher education. The resources; an analysis of the Core and Margin exercise, three scenarios which begin to explore the implications of the Core and Margin exercise, and a guide on reviewing and rethinking strategic planning in response to the new HE in FE landscape will be of interest to college governors, trustees and leaders.  They should be read in conjunction with the FE College/HE Institution Partnership Checklist which was published in February 2012.
