LSIS Accounts

It was confirmed in November 2012 by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) that funding for LSIS will cease at the end of the 2012/2013 academic year.

As a consequence of this we confirmed in December that we have no alternative but to begin a managed exit from our delivery of improvement services for the further education and skills sector by the end July 2013.

Following discussions with BIS we can confirm that a phased ending to our services will take place during the summer term. For many programmes this will mean that they will continue until their planned finish date. Details relating to specific programme areas will be released in due course.

We can now confirm that all LSIS Accounts will close on 31 May 2013. You can use your allocation to book onto events up to 31 July 2013, but must have made your booking by 31 May 2013.

We encourage you to book onto events as soon as possible as there is currently a high demand. All bookings are dealt with on a first come first served basis.
